Chief Investment Officer

The North Hill investment management team is headed by Alexis Stavrou.

With over 18 years experience in financial markets, including positions at leading Financial Instititutions and Consultancy Firms, Alexis eventually discovered the works and words of Warren Buffet, which put him on the path of becoming a Value Investor.

Alexis has adopted key elements of Warrent Buffet's philosophy into his investment style, including differentiation differentiation between price and value, understanding how to use the vagaries of the market for one's investing advantage, and the importance of minimising the chances for a permanent loss of capital.

Alexis also has extensive experience in the London property market, first as a speculator and developer, before transitioning to a longer-term investment strategy, and he is able to apply the key lessons from his experience here to inform his equities asset allocation and assessment of equities investment opportunities.
